Downloadable Protocols

The Protocols (1) explain what cases are included in the Bankruptcy Research Database, (2) define the data in each field, (3) indicate the source of the data in each field if it is not obvious, and (4) explain some of our decision making in classifying cases. Fields are ordered alphabetically. The protocols are text searchable, and updated monthly.
